Visit of the French Ambassador, Mr. Eric Chevallier

On January 15, 2025, we had the honor of welcoming Mr. Eric Chevallier, French Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, to our school.
During his visit, the Ambassador repeatedly exclaimed: “I love this school!”
The Ambassador read a story with the CM1-CM2 (Grade 4-5) students, sang a song with the kindergarteners, offered words of encouragement to the graduating class, and had discussions with the MUN organizers. He also enjoyed meeting our students who are learning French in the New-To-French section and praised the school’s social and linguistic diversity, stating: “It’s like a mini United Nations!”

Introduction to MUN in Sharm El Sheikh

The French School of Sharm El Sheikh proudly hosted the second edition of the Model United Nations (MUN) from December 12 to 14, 2024. This prestigious event gathered 31 students from various high schools in Sharm El Sheikh and Dahab, marking a significant milestone in the educational landscape of the region.
